Our ability to revive and redefine centuries-old traditions in contemporary home furnishings is displayed throughout every Safavieh collection; from evocative antique reproductions, to trend-setting transitional designs and the most fash-ion-forward styles available anywhere.
Our History
Established in 1914, Safavieh began as curators and suppliers of antique rugs. Over time our business expanded into antique furniture, all leading to the Safavieh brand soon being recognized a trendsetter in the interior design industry.
In 1978 we opened our first U.S showroom on Madison Avenue in NYC. From this single rug store, our retail operations have expanded to include iconic Safavieh Galleries located throughout the N.Y. tristate area. Today Safavieh is a market leader in every phase of bringing fine home furnishings the public. We operate more than 2,500,000 square feet of warehouse space across six states, manufacturing facilities across three continents, and maintain retail partnerships throughout the industry. Most recently we announced the grand opening of the Safavieh Shoppe, our ecommerce retail store featuring the full line of Safavieh area rugs and fine home furnishings.
