The Ashban Trunk is a rectangular storage chest built with a solid wood frame wrapped entirely in thick, natural seagrass woven in a chunky basketweave pattern. The hinged lid opens to reveal a fully fabric-lined interior that protects blankets, pillows, or seasonal clothing from snagging on the woven exterior.
- Fabric-Lined Interior: The deep main compartment is fully lined in white fabric, creating a smooth, snag-free environment for storing textiles, seasonal clothing, or extra bedding.
- Hinged Lid Mechanism: Metal hinges keep the top securely attached and hold it open during use, allowing for easy, two-handed access to the contents inside the trunk.
- Chunky Basketweave Texture: Twisted ropes of natural seagrass are woven into a large-scale checkerboard pattern, bringing heavy organic texture and coastal warmth to the room.
- Room Fit: 39.3"W x 23.6"D x 17.7"H. The low, wide profile works well centered in a living room as a storage coffee table or positioned at the foot of a queen or king bed.
- Seagrass and Wood Care: Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth or vacuum with a brush attachment. Spot clean the interior fabric lining as needed. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
